Our Purpose

It has been said that sororities are a waste of time, but let me be the first to tell you otherwise. With the love and friendship I have found in Theta Omicron, I know my college experience without Delta Zeta would be mundane. Because of the incredible women I have met, I know I have some of my best friends, future bridesmaids, and truly lifetime sisters, so please feel free to browse around our website and see what our sisterhood is all about!
I have called Delta Zeta my home for three years now and it is the best experience of my collegiate years. It has shaped me into the woman I’ve always wanted to become and has empowered me to pursue my dreams fearlessly. As a Delta Zeta woman, I strive to give back to my community as an emergency room physician or a trauma surgeon. My future endeavors are a glimpse of what our chapter is made up of. From all the incredible women, I call my sisters. We have dreams of becoming attorneys, teachers, doctors, professors, speech pathologists and essentially a woman who impacts her community.
But becoming successful women in the workforce is not our only focus, we love to give back and always aim to meet the high ideals of our sorority. Every semester we host fun and worthwhile events that support our national philanthropy for “The Starkey Hearing Foundation.” My sisters inspire me to always give back of what is mine, regardless if it is my time, money or service. Our women leave our chapter knowing what the most important thing in this world is: putting others before yourself.
So I encourage you to ask questions and contact us, even if it’s for what you think is the most trivial question. We would love to get know you and meet you. Delta Zeta is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I hope that you take the leap of faith and see what we are all about!
